got about 60% of the way through the first one got stuck in the ship fighting the kraken.
played the second one and couldn't figure out how to get past the first chapter. found out i was missing an essential psynergy from the first game.......
    never played the third one.

I know the comment is somewhat old but that's a lie, the game is fairly linear in the way you tackle it until you get Piers' ship so the only thing you were lacking was awareness cause they wouldn't make you have to link the previous game in order to progress (the link is just there for extras).
"Didn't we have some fun...though? Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said 'Goodbye' and you were like 'No way' and then I was all 'We pretended we were going to murder you'......that was great"

I have been playing it lately again, I still love it no matter how many times I play it.

And no, this is not a necro I think, not enough time has passed by to be one.

Totally loved these games and played them multiple times. The lore, the gameplay, the awesome animations, loved it. Then they went and ruined the "Thor" summon in the third game...that magic circle being painted in the sky was so loveable.

I remember a friend of mine thought the game had a cool name and decided to buy it back when I was going to elementary school. (Not sure if it translates correctly, but yeah) He showed it to me and I fell in love. Sadly it's underrated deluxe, and the story.. Whew, I played the two games for GBA not too many months ago. Was pure nerdgasm.
Love without pain isn't really romance.

I cant say Enough "So Much This!!" to every postive post about GS1 GS2

I absolutely love the music, the graphics are awesome for their time imo ( All the summons/weapon effects ect, i always loved to see new effects/what they looked like)
the game-play was so enticing from the moment i started to play GS1 when i got it, Same goes for GS2

I lost the cartridge of GS1 ages ago. Have yet to recover.

Fantastic games overall. A delight to the eye and ear with a solid gameplay and an enchanting world.

Dang, now I have to find the OST.

These were my first RPG games beyond Pokemon. I was much younger when I first played them, but I was definitely satisfied with them. I want to go back and play them again at some point. I never did finish the first one though...

Blasphemy, between them and FF Tactics Advance i'm still annoyed at Nintendo that the later generations of DS aren't backwards compatible with GBA games since I got a DS late.
