Bridge and poker are my suggestions too. Also there are tarot card games that are pretty complex.

If you say Poker I hope you mean Texas Hold'em. Any other form is exactly the opposite of what the OP asked for.

Poker requires a lot of skill, plus you HAVE to play with money otherwise it's pretty moot.
If that's not your cup of tea and you want to find something different, you can try Biriba.

No Limit 2-7 Single Draw is a very skillfull game. It's structure opens up for extreme bluffs. As others have said Omaha hi/lo is also a very good form of poker, but it takes a long time to master for someone that has never played poker before.

Thats why I like draft tournaments, because everybody has a much more equal chance, everybody is picking from the same set of cards at the same time so its skill based both in deck building and play, instead of how much money you put in.

Well... Magic can be expensive if you want it to be.

Like me, who plays every format in this game(standard, legacy, modern, limited), goes to every PTQ, GP type of tournaments near around, it can be expensive.

If OP want to play this game "casually" thats fine.
    "Crushing in!"
