I caved and got the THQ bundle even though I have half the games already. Dat price reduction.
Anyone else that cant access the steam store at the moment ? currently just getting "Error Code: -102 Unable to connect to server. Server may be offline or you may not be connected to the internet." and i cant find anything on the steam forum about the server being offline and im obviously connected to the internet![]()
Yeh same, cant get on. Was just about to buy the skyrim dlc too.
I have the same problem.
So many games in my Steam list that I haven't even played yet. Says I have 276 games, obviously a few of those are GTA mac versions and beta things, so lets say 265ish. I probably played 80 of that only, I just can't find the motivation to play anymore, WoW burned me out on gaming in general![]()
meh there goes my plan on buying the Left 4 Dead 2 4pack befor i got out shopping for new years eve (yeah yeah im late i know)
Kinda a weird with these servers going down down first we got eu wows login servers then minecrafts login servers and now steam store its a conspiracy! /tinfoilhat
I had the same problem for a while after WOTLK, took a break though and after a couple of months started getting back into console gaming, while im subbed to wow though i barely have the motivation to play any other games. Which is why i need another break soon to work through my back log :P.
Don't know about the US but for the UK the Civ 5 Expansion Pack Gods and Kings is available on GMG for £2.10 which is a bargain and it's a steam key.
£2.99 http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/e...-kings/?sale33 + Use voucher GMG30-DPLIM-DN831 to bring it down to £2.10

Serious Sam 3 is definitely worth buying if you're looking for something better than shitty console-developed "realistic shooters," to play. Just as fun as the first two games, and still just as funny.
The 3.5 engine also seems to be pretty potent. I wonder if anyone else has tried using it for something.
EDIT: If you call yourself a gamer you will vote Quake for today's user choice sale.

It is impossible for a tear of sadness to land on a Warrior Beard. As soon as the tear lands on the Warrior Beard, it is now a happy tear.5:10 AM - Everything Nice: PizzaSHARK, you're my stand in! You're promoted to like.. Semi-bestfriend.
Bah why can't they reduce Mark of the Ninja a little bit more? =< At least down to 66% off...
I know it's a good game and probably worth even the full price, but I keep thinking "Steam will sell it for half the price soon!" and hesitate to buy it.
It's not even a matter of money really (didn't buy that much this sale, I'm way under my budget) but just plain greed.
The advantage of the dreamer is that he never has to face the chains of reality.

Far cry 3 finally on sale. Bought it.
Was Warhammer 40k DoW reduced by 75% at some point? Also, Fortune Summoners, that game is.. freaking awesome.
It's sold so well at full price and 50%, it will probably be a while for Steam to drop any higher. Personally I am also waiting for cheaper, either Humble Bundle or 75% off. I put very little faith in what people say about Indie games, some of the most hyped indie games have been (in my own, very personal opinion) absolute shit. One in particular almost made me regret buying the humble bundle, even though it came with many more games and the proceeds from my sale went mostly to charity. Often times Indie games can get so overhyped as the greatest thing in the world, and for whatever reason any negative comments get brushed under the rug.
That being said, the Trine collection is currently on sale, and that is an Indie game that I personally think lived up to and even surpassed the hype.
