Funny story, they forgot to include the double dip fix for Chloros. So we got our base values buffed, but they didn't fix the bug inflating our numbers. Kervik said it should be fixed tomorrow, but in the meantime everyone go solo heal stuff!

Certain abilities, in this case proc-based heals are gaining additional benefit from Spellpower, so are much more powerful than intended

    Ah, thanks!

Another thing, is pet healing from the Greater Faerie Healer affected by the points bonus spent in a healing tree and vice versa with damage in a dps tree? You know, the "For each point spent in [warden/sentinel/purifier whatever soul tree] you gain 1 % more healing and absorption/damage".

Not sure if %Healing modifiers affect pets or not.
    I doubt they do.

What better way to prepare for the day of 'luv' tomorrow than getting hotfix #9

    RIFT 2.1 Hotfix #9 - 8:00am PST 2/13/13 [NA] - 2:00am GMT 14/2/13 [EU]

    = Festival of Mariel-Taun =

    * The Festival of Mariel-Taun approaches; a celebration of love in Telara!
    * Telarans everywhere are being smitten by the Love Bug, a completely harmless disease resulting in such symptoms as 'butterflies in the tummy'.
    * Those suffering from this joyful affliction are infectious, capable of transmitting the Love Bug to up to three additional Telarans.
    * Just in time for the celebration, a new Dimension Item merchant has set up shop in Tempest Bay selling wedding-themed decor! This merchant is a permanent addition and its appearance - and items - are not limited to the duration of the Festival.

    * You can remove the Love Bug effect from yourself by right-clicking the effect. While you have it, you cannot receive it again.
    * After infecting 3 people with the Love Bug, you are immune to re-infection for an hour.
    * The Love Bug will begin spreading among the playerbase sometime on Thursday, February 14th in local server time, initially by the use of mysterious love letters sent to a random selection of active characters. Check your in-game mail to see if you have a delivery!
    * For Newsletter subscribers, also check your newsletters for a code to obtain a selection of the new Wedding-themed Dimension items!

    GENERAL

    * Zone Event: Ardent Domain: Feeding Frenzy: Both mini bosses and the final boss should now spawn properly. You should no longer see a state where only one mini boss appears and results in a stuck event. Also linked the map icon for protecting Isabella with the correct event objective.
    From last week's multi-fixes:
    * Raid warnings sent by characters you have on your ignore list are now actually ignored.

    SOULS

    * [Last Week] Stealth should now be deactivated if the stealthed character is hit by a damaging Tactician Torrent.
    * [Last Week] Tactician: Fixed a bug where the width of all Torrents was half of what they should be. They should now be 8 meters wide.

    PARAGON

    * Double Jeopardy: Should now... work.

    PURIFIER

    * Inflame: Fixed this triggering additional proc effects like Salvation when it shouldn't.
    * Fire Wall: Now tagged correctly as an AoE ability and not single target.

    REAVER

    * Spasm: Can now only interrupt boss abilities that were meant to be interruptible. Will not be Blocked, Parried, or Dodged.

    RIFTBLADE

    * Stonespear: Can now only interrupt boss abilities that were meant to be interruptible.
    * Calliope's Riftblade Crystal: Fixed the 4-piece bonus effect increasing the damage of Storm Blade when it shouldn't.

    VOID KNIGHT

    * Ambient Engorgement: Fixed this not generating Pacts while you are in combat.
    * Calliope's Void Knight Crystal: The effect triggered by the 4-piece bonus should now have the same duration as the Pacts. It will also not increase the damage dealt by procced effects like Storm Blade and Elemental Touch when it shouldn't. It will also no longer incorrectly boost damage of abilities like Riftblade's Storm Blade and Elemental Touch.

    RAIDS

    ENDLESS ECLIPSE

    * Regulos: Glimpse the Abyss will cease while Regulos is channeling Death's Apotheosis... for real this time.
    * Matriarch of Pestilence: Selected abilities have been adjusted based on the changes to healing Souls.

    FROZEN TEMPEST

    * Artifex Zaviel: Selected abilities have been adjusted based on the changes to healing Souls.

    PVP/WARFRONTS

    * Increased the amount of Valor provided by PvP set gear.
    * Removed the additional PVP healing reductions on Chloromancer's Bloom, Essence Surge, Nature's Touch (Synthesis Target), and Void Life (Synthesis Target).
    From last week's multi-fixes:
    * Players who leave their raid in Conquest and then AFK are now kicked from the map after 10 seconds, similar to raid instances.
    * Port Scion: Reduced the health and damage of many NPCs.

    CRAFTING

    * Runecrafting: Storm Legion crafted bags now Runebreak into the proper materials.

    ITEMS

    * Eternal Crystallized Insight is no longer available for purchase from Lepatria Freetairn.
    * Relic upgrade items no longer lose any stats when upgraded.
    * Old-world notoriety vendor runes are now Bind to Account.
    * Quicksilver Seal and Escapist's Ring now have appropriate Hit values.
    * Shroud of Ghostly Whispers: Now has deflect instead of block.
    Source: http://forums.riftgame.com/official-...4-2-13-eu.html

Liking the changes to some of the Old World rep items, runes from Icewatch,Stillmoor and Shimmersand guys are still very useful for leveling alts

So is this Festival just a miniature Valentines one, with the huge Carnival thing coming shortly thereafter? I keep asking about this damned carnival, but I need to have glowy space ponies and robot arachnids. so this is serious business.

    RIFT 2.1 Hotfix #10

    GENERAL

    * Raid-dropped and Raid merchant gear has gotten a boost.
    * You can now use the Ascend-a-Friend Summon Friend ability to summon between Mathosia and Storm Legion zones.
    * Endless Eclipse: Matriarch of Pestilence: Reduced the duration of the Necrotic Spores effect to better match it up to the VFX.
    * Golem Foundry: Expert: Corrected the notoriety rewards for dungeon completion.
    * Ashora Onslaughts: Melee mobs should now properly engage Turrets and Lifesprings.
    * Changed the character name length for invites to Dimensions or Weddings to give more room for @shardname cross-shard invites.

    PVP

    * Rewards (Experience, Favor, Prestige, coin, Notoriety, Conquest Power, and Freelancer's Marks of Conquest) are now suppressed if you spend more than a minute in the starting areas of Warfronts or Conquest. * Notoriety rewards for Storm Legion Expert dungeons have been increased to 500 from 250.

    * Instant Adventure in Ashora now grants 200 Notoriety as a base amount.
    * Most Storm Legion endgame Daily quests that previously granted Notoriety now give 300.
    * Increased some Lycini Notoriety payouts for kills and quests.
    * Storm Legion Daily quests and group Daily quests now grant additional coin rewards.
    * Infinity Stone payouts have been updated for certain endgame activities.
    * Daily quests that grant Infinity Stones now give 4 instead of 2.
    * Onslaught Dailies that grant Infinity Stones now give 3 instead of 2.
    * Instant Adventure chests are now slightly more common and can give 1-3 Infinity Stones.

I like the buff to IS farming, but still think the rep is too low. An increase from 250 to 300...wow...that's going to really make a difference.

I'm not one who feels rushed to do dailies every day in this game. Thankfully I learned that painful lesson in MoP, but it still shouldn't be so horrible. I would like to feel that if I do dailies for a week I have made progress instead of looking at the Not bar and thinking it hasn't moved at all.

Maybe when Dendrome comes out it will feel a little better, but right now it is not motivating enough to do it at all. Maybe they are just starting slow to avoid too many people complaining that the game is getting easy and also to make sure they don't go too far. I'm glad they are addressing the issue though. Good to know they are still on top of things.

PvP changes look awful. They just buffed Valor and for the first time it looked as tho Chloro's might actually be able to keep themselves alive for more than a few seconds, but now PvP healing is down, Valor is down.

Healing in PvP for a mage is dead, dead, dead. So glad I don't bother anymore.
