i cant hear some people. theyre like talking to me and i dont hear like half of what theyre saying to me. and eventhough they speak right into my ear i still cant hear them. and they arent like quiet voices people, also men.

is that because they speak on another level or wat ?

You probably aren't used to the way they speak (I know there is a better term, I just can't think of it right now). I have a hard time understanding some English accents even though I know they are speaking English. Some American accents get me to. But I can understand some of strongest Southern and Islander accents.
