    It's entirely possible, though based on the presence of that lightning charged beaver as well, they could be trash mobs for the new raid/daily quest area. That turtle however, I'm willing to be is either one, or he's a new boss.

    yeah will probably be hard to get hold of as will be brand new. hope its at the end of a phased area so wont be as many people.

    Would love to have this Spirit beast since the ones that exist now has gone out of my taste. I got the bear, loque'nahak and the bird; Currently using the bird but I do want something else. Maybe the Thunder Beaver is also a spirit beast that has a skoll-like style.

    Seems like a lot of work to do for it to be a trash mob. Traditionally, spirit beast mobs have either been hunter pets or in the case of one spirit cat in Mists, a monk spell. Who knows. My guess is either a hunter pet or a battle pet.
