They made the LHC (large hadron collider) go faster than the speed of light. So in that sense, we can look forward to a black hole sometime in the future when parts start to where down.. Being that, a nano size hole gets made in the huge machine caused by a replicated big bang, and therefore the machine isn't able to withstand such pressure and causes a small black hole to gobble up everything. :3

Well, if history tells us anything... after previous silly doomsday scenarios failed each and every time, the tinfoil crowd usually goes back to unnecessary freakouts over any comet or asteroid between us and Jupiter. So I'll play the safe bet and predict more of that.

I predict the nutters will focus their attention upon the comet C/2012 S1 (ISON). It's not known at this point how well the comet will hold together as it nears the Sun, but some predictions indicate it might be visible with the naked eye by November.
