Maybe it is the reason why apocalypse theory is so popular. They want everyone to die. They are afraid of dying alone.

But the truth is that there will be no apocalypse. And everyone will die alone. Short pointless life spent on computer games and oblivion in the end. That's your personal apocalypse.

I seriously doubt that a galactic fleet (i.e. one travelling between galaxies) would come to Earth first upon reaching our galaxy.

And if they didn't - they would only be an interplanetary fleet by the time they got here.
