ever killed galleon but not get credit for kill?

So I was on one of my alts today when galleon spawned on the server. I was in the initial pull group and did close to 10m overall damage yet didnt get credit for the kill. I was in the raid group from start to finish yet no credit for even killing him when he died. This was my first time actually seeing the guy spawn since expansion release. Anyone have any idea why this happened? This was very frustrating.

Well, I had it happen once to me, but I was phased into another realm. I still got the achievement but no loot / gold bag :/

I didn't even get the achievement. I'm used to killing bosses with credit and no loot. This has taken it to a whole new level lol

Because first time i didn't get the achie but i did get the loot.
