    Headset

    Hey all

I got this headset AKG GHS1 Gaming Headset they are really good, but with one annoying aspect, the wire which connects to the PC twists and it is a major pain. Anytime I move back, I have to tug at it and after a while it pulls out the socket.

The thing is, everything bar the wire is great about the headset.

So I am asking for a recommendation of good headsets with a good wire but are similar in looks and sound to this. I don't mind spending a bit extra if it is worth it.

They're not really similar looks and the headphone size etc. But the Plantronics Gamecom 780 is decently priced, decent sound quality and the cord will not tangle which you mentioned being the main issue.

Another option could be the Corsair Vengeance 1500, similar price, decent quality from what i read (reviews and MMO forum thread) but I can't tell you how the cord is.

There is also Corsair Vengeance 2000 it's more or less the same as the 1500 but it's wireless (problem solved, right?) however they're a little more expensive. At least you have some options now.

Thanks for the reply, first ones you linked could be a potential buy.
