If you had to live without either fruits or vegetables, for lets say a year, which would you choose to give up?
I would choose fruits since vegetables are primary staples of a majority of meals. I couldn't live without my taters, corn, or green beans.

And one other thing to note; you would still be able to take vitamin supplement pills to cover the nutrition you would lose by giving up either fruits or veggies.
