Druids are pretty decent at healing there are a couple things I would like.

    1) Bring Swiftmend & Wildgrowths cooldowns closer together, so you can always gain the benefit of SotF to use with wildgrowth with no waiting.
    2) Make Force of Nature 'smarter ai' I think they should be able to walk/ move and cast at the same time, healing should be scaled to be competitive with that tier.
    3) Cenarion Ward make it 'smarter' something reminesent of Earth shield for shamans.
    4) Mushrooms.. honestly i've seen creative posts on how to fix them, I guess blizzard thinks they are 'working as intended'. Wouldn't mind a minor glyph to make them look like wild flowers.

Blizzard did post saying they had some new ideas for mushrooms, but they also said they dont want them to be part of a rotation... but to me that makes no sense, they want druids to have a.... useless / fun spell?? wots the point in that.

Id like to see cenarion ward be an absorb spell, i know it doesnt really goin with the whole "druid does hots" thing, but it will still be a ticking hot, it will just absorb damage rather than heal it.

Cenarion Ward just needs to get rid of the long HoT component and be free to be competitive. If Blizz is dead set on keeping it as a HoT we only need the HoT to last for about 3 seconds or so.

My idea: How about a Druid version of Sacred Shield? (But instead of a shield you have heals).

Cenarion Ward- Protects a friendly target, causing any damage taken to heal the target for 1235 (+ 11.4% of SpellPower) every 1 sec for 3 sec. Can only be active on one target at a time. Lasts 30 seconds. 10 second cooldown. Costs no mana.

I tweaked the numbers of CW because having it heal for it's current amount every 6 seconds would be quite OP. Instead, I would change the HoT to last for only 3 seconds and to have an ICD of 5 seconds. It would proc 6 times for its duration and would scale with Haste (similar to Sacred Shield). It would no longer be a "charge" but an actual buff on the target. Targets would be limited to 1 and the 10 second CD is just nice to have for target swaps.

Cenarion Ward - Turn it into a different version of Earth Shield.
Swiftmend - 12.5 sec cooldown. (Or a different length cooldown, but still synchronized with WG)
Wild Growth - 12.5 second cooldown.

    Mushrooms
    - Glyph to look like Wild Flowers.
    - Make it so you have plant a seed or spore on 3 desired raid members at one time as a last until canceled buff.
    - Every X amount of time you can sprout mushrooms or flowers from the vicinity of those players.
    - This way mushrooms is a single button.

So Resto mushrooms = Garalon Pheromones and splash heal players around them when activated (CD limitted)?

Many Druids have advocated having shrooms be on actual PLAYERS versus on the ground. This would make them mobile and not as punishing to use on high-movement fights.

Did some testing on the PTR today. Some recent findings:

-Force of Nature's cast time for the Treants states 3 seconds on the tooltip, but it is actually still 2.5 on the PTR. I'm not sure if it's just a bug or maybe a tooltip error? Either way each FoN I cast I was getting 200-215k free healing every minute unbuffed. This is right on par with Incarnation which has been somewhat mathed out to provide around 600k additional healing every 3 min if used on CD.

-The improved Soul of the Forest gives you one more tick to Wild Growth (14 total) and 7 ticks of Rejuv at 3043 Haste with the Haste buff. Soul of the Forest is probably the most powerful talent in terms of pure HpS now when combined with the T14 4-piece.

-Cenarion Ward's healing was indeed buffed. It was doing about 100k over the 6 seconds which isn't bad.

Neither. It's just and out of date PTR build compared to the patchnotes. Rogues e.g. still have Hit and Run instead of Cloack and Dagger.

The problem with SotF is that it can't compete with the burst you can get with Incarnation. It won't ever save the raid in the same way. It could be situational on a fight like Garalon, but other than that it's not worth it. Even then, Lifebloom blanketing with it to enable Regrowth spam probably still puts it ahead of SotF when your raid is in trouble.

The problems isn't just what you face within your raid comp and competing for numbers. The problem is when a competitive guild is recruiting they will choose almost every other class over you (other than Holy Priest, but why play that when you can be disc). Right now there is no reason for a competitive guild to choose a resto druid. If they have one in their roster it is most likely because they have been a long lasting member of the guild and not because they were recruited.

I think that you touch on the biggest downfall that we have right now. The fact that we are truly a raid healing class (rolling lifebloom on a tank doesn't really count as tank healing. All of our big heals are way too expensive to have us viable as a tank healer). Yet within that we lack the burst healing. All other classes have a spammable aoe of some sort, but we have nothing. The only thing that we can do in that situation is WG, SM for efflorescence and blanket RJ. You can say mushroom as well, but with the 5.2 change as it is right now it really wont be an improvement on the old version unless used on a 30 sec cd. Even our efflorescence, with the reduced time on SM, can't be kept up all the time. With the t14 4 piece you still have 3 secs of down time on efflorescence. With the coming tier you wont have the reduced time on SM so the down time will go back to 6 secs, making us go backwards on that part. We really need some way to get some kind of semi spammable burst aoe. If they can tweak mushrooms for that then great.

As for the 'problem' with hots, you (apostoloss) probably aren't in HM, where it is pretty standard for the raid to be lower in health most of the time, so snipping of heals doesn't happen as much. In those cases our hots and the semi mobility that we have (semi cause after rejuv and WG on cd there isn't too much we can do for hots on raid) make us a little bit better than reg mode progression.
