Top 10 favorite video game characters!

I've done this thread before, but over the course of this year we've seen alot of new characters and perhaps we've played older games. So let's see what characters do we all like! Doesn't have to be from this year though, could even be from the NES times :P

Rules areon't have 3 characters from the same series, 2 is the max, and try to be creative, if they're all from 1 type of genre (They're all from platformers or something) that kinda sucks, Enjoy.

I'll start off 1 is highest, 10 is lowest, but obviously they're my favorites!

Honorable Mentions: Altair Ibn-La Ahad, Sonic the Hedgehog, Dr.Eggman/Robotnik, Thrall/Go'el, Jin Kazama, Dante, Phoenix Wright, Spyro , Scorpion, Kratos, Mike Haggar and Illidan Stormrage. ..That's a handful..!

Surprised people can't get 10, I have looads of characters, and that doesn't even scratch the surface, just got 10 of my favorites, there's more ofc but I suppose I do like them the most, there are lots of characters I don't like either..

Ratchet from the Ratchet & Clank Saga.
Alex Mason from Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Spyro the Dragon from the Spyro Saga.

Mostly has to do with the damn nostalgia.

Link, Garrus, Tali, Kirby, Ezio Auditore, Ganon/dorf, Alistair, Adam Jensen, Illidan, Zelda, in no particular order.

LoZ is my favourite franchise and even if Link et al are quite lacking in personality there's alot of nostalgia going on there which I'll freely admit. Kirby is there because he's "my character" in Smash and I like pretty much everything about his design. Bioware is great at crafting characters, hence why Garrus, Tali and Alistair fit the list. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of the best games I've had the joy of playing and Adam Jensen from top to toe was a vital part of that. Assassin's Creed 2 had a very good story and that game would not be he gem it is without Ezio as the vengeful womanizer he is. Illidan was the best character in WC3 and deserved a much better end than he got in TBC, he is an antihero and a very good one at that.

The thing that makes the main characters who have no personality is that you decide how you think they should be. Also, he could simply be there for the badass factor.
