Quick simple question about 15" rMBP (not about dps)

I am buying the lower end 15" rMBP. i can either upgrade the processor from 2.3 to 2.6 i7 for $100 or memory from 8gb to 16gb RAM for $180. Is the processor upgrade the obvious choice or am I missing something. This is all in regards to WoW performance. I am also not into video editing. Thanks.

Yeah I would get the processor upgrade 16 gigs won't do anything extra for wow.

When they render videos or do 3d stuff. In the future of gaming you will need 16 gigs I think I saw a game not to long ago that was saying that 16 gigs was recommended. Max Payne 3 maybe ill have to look it up but I don't think most games will be recommending 16 gigs for a couple of years.

why a MBP if not into editing? (why anything apple when an intention is gaming to any extend, be it casual or hardcore)
