Ok... except Kosovo and Serbia, which, let's be honest, have been quarreling with one another since the minority became the majority in Kosovo, which other former Yugoslavian state fought any other?

But the fall of communism were revolutions. Romania is still the same as it was before 89' territory wise, so is Albania, Bulgaria etc. And they didn't fight to be independent from USSR, at this time Gorbachev had already given them some freedom, they fought to get rid of their own dictators. And now they're democratic countries. 2 of them in the EU even.

It only starts looking like Irak if the US try to continue controlling it. Otherwise it will just be another partially corrupt country.

You seem to forget the wars in Bosnia, Croatia, and Slovenia during the 1990s.

Again, not strict revolutions. The American colonies were not part of the United Kingdom in the same way that Romania and Bulgaria were not part of the USSR, but still under its political auspices.

ummm... those were part of the violent revolution and part of Serbia's mad dictator trying to take the regions back. And no for Slovenia. Slovenia was tehnically in the war for 10 days.

Do you really think that if USSR would have fully controlled Romania we could have done that?

"Fully control"? No. But it was not a truly autocephalous state.

Save it, the ones you support refuse to negotiate in good faith, When you do that you accept the consequences of no movement. The Israelis SHOULD continue, as they currently control the land they are building on, until Abbas and cadre come to the table. Why should they bother stopping building on the land if there are no negotiations in progress regarding the land? Hmm?

Now if Abbas and the Palestinians were actually interested in negotiating and actively pursuing it, THEN I might see a reason for Israel to stop building, but not until. Sorry.

I see a lot of refrences to Genocide, I'm wondering if the people here are saying Israel is systamticly trying to wipe out all Palestinians it can get a hold of by killing them?

It's just that according to the Palestinian themselves, there are rouglht 4 times more Palestinians living in the West Bank and Gaza now then threre were when Israel took over... So I'm just saying that if Israel tries to wipe them off the face of the planet, it's doing a pretty shitty job at it.

The "hate" on Israel comes from not turning a blind eye to

    . UN peace accords
    . Human rights violations
. The willingness to draw the world into yet another war

here is a little quandary for you

you are 14 years old, one day at home ( you don't have a school), you see soldiers rushing through your home and see your parents shot. within 2 weeks you have no money, no hope of employment and no food. because you lack a nationality your movement will be restricted within an occupied territory. An organization of which you no not the name says that if you are willing to fight for them that they will take care of you and your family.

    Do you

    A) wait a few more weeks and watch as your family starves to death
    B) attempt to without and education, nationality or consistent access to electricity and running water to try and get a job or start a business.
    C) take the offer.

The root of the issue comes from

    1. Constant military activity either by rebels or Israeli soldiers.
    2. The lack of a state prevents
    - mobility
    - education
    - sustainable infrastructure

It generally takes quite the prodding to get somebody to strap on a bomb. rather than quarantine and treat Muslims as sub humans the best thing you can do is allow for improvement in QoL (Quality of Life). starvation is what will always make humans most aggressive

So.... what law is being broken? He's not doing anything illegal. Israeli laws are being followed. UN mandates are not laws and have no bearing.

I found that incredibly interesting as well, however, given that commentary on the actions of the moderators isn't allowed I'm loathe to say anything else.

I support Israeli expansion and don't believe international "law" saying settlement activity should be stopped has any jurisdiction whatsoever. Go Israel! The way I figure it, the more anti-semites Israel pisses off the better.

The open and unabashed anti-semitism on this website is really eye-opening. Hitler would be proud of some of the things said here.

because certain folks have to loudly, repeatedly and unabashedly have to make their hate for a particular group known. So they take it upon themselves to create and participate in countless threads about effectively the same topic. They are either unwilling or unable to muster the personal fortitude to do something about it, so they come here to tell us how much they hate X. Where as its not hate, they fear X, but they dont want to admit it.
