    I had Objectdock on my old pc and i barely noticed it running(still have it on my new pc). Heck, even Cataclyst Control Center uses more memory atm..

    So try it and see how it works for you, besides, you can get it for free.

    Same here. It was pretty nice at keeping my desktop clean while still allowing me to keep my links.
    I had Vista at the time so I wasn't able to pin icons to my task bar (Never thought of using quick launch for some reason.)
    But with Windows 7 and pinning, I no longer use it.
