Sod off mate. Me and my gf both only work part time, yet we spread the cost of xmas over the last 6 months of the year, which is espcially important when I have a 8 month old. We managed to spend in excess of £400 on her, as well as around £200 on each other, not to mention to copious amounts of food/chocolate we bought for the up coming days a head, right through to new year.

Remember... not all gifts have to cost £100. Doesn't cost much to make a phone call to a loved one and break the ice.

And I got nothing, I wanted nothing. I don't really find christmas to be that important, don't find many of those things people celebrate to be that important, not even my own birthday.
And? Your sob story makes my heart bleed! If you have money problems, I suggest changing your lifestyle. But, your finances are not my concern anyway.

And yet since you don't give a toss about xmas, go find another thread, and gloat in your own self pity there along with other scrooges.

And for an implied adult you seem just as naive. Not all gifts need to have monetary value attached.

sinterklaas is the original santa claus which coca cola stole and turned into what it is now..

    Merry Christmas ^^

This has been the best christmas I've had in years. I have my dear close friend from germany here at my mothers house, so its just us 3. Without my drunk father, there hasn't been a single ounce of discontent or resentment, with the old man gone its just a nice, warm environment.
My mum got me soaks, pants, and... a galaxy smart phone ^^ I'm so happy, I've not been able to afford a smart phone, so it was a great surprise ^^

I was lead to believe that I was getting GW2 but instead all I got was socks, pajamas and thats it.

I spent $240 on others and $20 was spent on me.

In Sweden we celebrate on the eve. I got home today and unpacked my gifts:

    Headset
    Chocolate
    Electric trimmer/razor
    Sweater
    Book
    Cooking utensils
    Table mat
    Scarf
    Hair gel
    Jam and lemonade

Funniest thing was when my sister's cat got tangled up in the lights on the x-mas tree and made it fall over, haha!

A Merry Yule (God Jul) to all!
