To the people having such awesome win statistics, do you go alone or in a group? And, do you go as a healer?

And that, my dear friend, is why LFR is good, both in gameplay and gear. It lets you taste the carrot.

I usually go alone. Sometimes I queue with one (max two) friends. I am sad because most of the people I used to play with have quitted. Else I would probably queue with more. I am a dps spec btw.

Eye of the Storm battles 15

Since cata, I queu with a group of IRL friends, we always go atleast with 3, and 5 whenever we can. 1 Tank (dk) 1 healer (shammy), 3 dps (enh shammy, warlock, spriest). We wanted to do Rated bg's, but our server is dead =/

ALSO: being on a pvp realm, there are always some guilds looking in /2 for extra players. Since they are prepared, the chances of winning are mostly high for doing normal bg's.

I PvP'ed a lot on my dk. but i deleted him (horrbile noobish name, cba to pay). created a new one. My shaman was mostly pve (as you can see with numbers/statistics). My dk did some arena's got some 2k+ rating during Wotlk. In cata we had a Rbg guild. Overall, we won roughly 60%-70% of rbg's. Normal bg's were reasonable aka balanced but horde in favor...

WSG, maybe, but not Av and EotS o_O

    WSG Games/games won
    Rogue: 225/112
    Priest: 87/54
    Warrior 19/10
    Warlock 46/28

    AV
Rogue: 149/61 (and some of the wins were hk farms)
    Priest: 50/18
    Warrior:12/4
    Warlock: 5/2 (no way?!)

    EotS
Rogue: 124/4 (I knew it was bad,but still..?)
    Priest: 30/0
    Warrior 13/0
    Warlock 6/0

I solo queue as dps. I experience that alliance has a lot of healers. They can have 3-6 in WSG where we have none. I stop hoping we can win when I see it's AV/EotS/IoC. Queuing with friends/people who know what the fuck they're doing is more fun, esp. for the w/l ratio, but I don't know that many pvpers, I'm in a pve guild, my RL friends who play wow pvp veeeeeeery casually, if at all, and my lack of communication skills might contribute to all these losses.

Edit: I seemingly have won 60EotS battles on my rogue (looking at the "Eye of the Storm Veteran" achievement progress), but according to statistics, it's only 4

In my experience alliance are pretty bad in WSG.

Well in some cases not bad except that they queue in green gear with no glyphs and bad spec choice. Okay i call them bad because they suck.

And then we have people that never targets or CC key targets. Horde in my case usually got more healers and alliance just goes after the most shiny thing they can find. A prot warr in shiny pala transmog is all that is required to win a WSG.
Still cant get over the day i got infracted for speaking the truth about Blizzard. I mean who have faith on this game?

My experience on WSG is 50/50 but on other bgs, I seem to have more luck with my alliance toons.

The problem with alliance is that there simply are a lot more kids that have no clue what they are doing, not to mention alliance often has less healers and more pve geared people.
Horde pretty much dominates every battleground, minus the 40man bgs, because of this.
That's simply not true. There are as many "kids" and "pvers" on Horde. You can't judge Alliance/PvP as a whole based off of your own experience. Everyone has their own experience. My experience as an Alliance Warrior is that I win more often than not. Anyway, here's my stats:

I seem to lose EotS the most.

As an Alliance player with actually a bit over 50% win ratio in WSG (836 played, 459 won) and Justicar title (i.e. exalted with Silverwing, among others), I... agree. It's weird and no idea how I got over 50% win ratio for us but I too feel that Horde is better in WSG than the Alliance (I play alone 99% of the time as healer or dps btw).

Funnily enough, I think the Alliance is quite decent in EotS yet my win:loss ratio is horrible there, 511 played, 192 won, lol. EotS is the only BG where my win:loss ratio is bad, for all BGs it is over 50% for the Alliance.
    Hello hello dps are you there? On Recount I don't see a thing, main tank has the healing debuff from the boss you see you see;
Wha-a-at did you say? Vent is breaking up on me, sorry I can't talk now I am kinda healing; K-kinda healing, k-kinda healing...

I have alli and horde toons and I win far more on Alli. Theres certain times when horde ROFLstomps alli but overall alli are much stronger.

I love how your profile totally reflects this with over 900 warsongs played and only 475 won.

Umm.. I'm not sure what you are getting at. He has 475 wins, 469 losses.. when adding those together you get 944 played? Slightly better than 50%. Remember, he isn't the original poster, so he didn't make the title of the thread.

Speaking of Alliance win ratios, how's everyone's Silvershard ratio? Mine so far is 1 victory, 7 losses. -.-

is pvp balanced this expansion? how are the battlegrounds?

you can blame a specific race for having an op racial, but no the whole faction.

all i've seen is people talking about how op humans in PvP are.
want to know something funny from a human? i would trade anytime my "oh look i can equip another trinket" for the aoe stun/silence, increased hp/dps stats, etc.
