I do feel that their opinions are akin to selecting their favorite food when they've only ever eaten at a global chain restaurant.

PC games in recent times have seriously degraded in quality and depth though. I feel bad for people who missed out on the mid-to-late 90s (and perhaps arguably the early 2000s) of PC gaming. Those were some great times.
I've played both PC and console, but went over to console full time with the exception of WoW and LoL, simply because I don't enjoy the kind of games released for the PC anymore. The Elder Scrolls games, every first person shooter, any other MMO and Moba but WoW and LoL, in general all the games I've tried on Steam can't compare to the fun I'm having playing on the console, believe me, I've tried PC gaming, but it just doesn't cut it for me. The games that are released for PC that catch my attention are usually just bad ports of the console version anyways, like Rayman Origins and the likes. The only reason I'm still PC gaming is because of the two games I still play's social aspects, playing LoL with friends is great, and WoW too, but as stand alone games without the social aspect they're pretty mediocre.

Dark Age of Camelot was by far the best game i have ever played, the years playing this game were the best times i had playing a video game, ever. the pvp was fantastic, along with the community.

WoW comes second, because it is a great game overall and i have had nice times there aswell, especially ulduar progress was outstanding and i wont forget that anytime soon.

other than that cs 1.6 was a lot of fun too, as the other games stated in the list

I honestly had to go with WoW as my #1, because it's the game that I have ever spent the most time on.
Gears 1, fluke of the century (multiplayer wise), best game 7th gen, i am glad to see another person with it so high!

    1_ World of Warcraft
(2_ FSX) Not considered as a game since it's a simulator.
(3_rFactor1 and prolly 2) Not considered as a game since it's a simulator
    2_ Grand Theft Auto series
3_Driver 1,2 and maybe 3. Then it went shit.

Those are my top games (tho some aren't really games) I like others like the old Metal Gear Solid and such... but I can't think of an order for all of them.

In no particular order since I'd take a lot more time which I don't have at the moment...

    1) Breath of Fire 3
    2) FF7/8
    3) Crash Team Racing
    4) Shadow Hearts 2
    5) Jedi Knights 2: Jedi Outcast
    6) World of Warcraft
    7) DoTA
    8) Pokemon
    9) Worms 2
    10) Tales of series - most consistently good series throughout; almost always improving with each iteration in each console generation.

Ah shit a top 10 for me...

    10. Halo 3
    9. The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
    8. Banjo Tooie
    7. Super Smash Brothers Melee
    6. League of Legends
    5. Pokemon Emerald
    4. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
    3. World of Warcraft
    2. Banjo Kazooie
    1. Star Fox 64

Now I have Banjo Tooie low down because I honestly didn't know where to put it but I had to let it make the list even if if BK did.

I had a lot of trouble trying to choose my favorite considering I love Star Fox 64 because it was the first game I'd ever beaten a last boss (I was 4 years old iirc). Banjo Kazooie holds a dear place in my heart and I just don't know how to explain it, it's like number 2 and number 1 are equals to me... Just consider those 2 both first place.

WoW gets 3rd place because well shit (with a southern accent), it's god damn amazing if a game could keep me captivated in it for 7 and a half years. I played from very early Vanilla too nearly most of Cataclysm. I had the same main for those years too, my troll rogue (now goblin) Sare>Sareto>Sarej on Terenas EU... Ah so many memories.

I think I've explained my love for Wind Waker quite a bit on these forums.

Pokemon Emerald is amazing (I consider Sapphire part of this). The memories I've had in this game are only second to WoW. I loved it when this game came out because it is hands down my favorite generation, I'm a Hoenn hoe. I still like the graphic style to this day and the Battle Island thing at the end was a great addition from Sapphire and Ruby. I keep the game in my pocket just for safe keepings.

    League of Legends, I'm a moderator for that aren't I? ;D

Super Smash Brothers Melee was probably the fighting game I was actually good at, turn items off and I'm not even bragging here but I could beat anyone that I knew, and by anyone I mean anyone with low tier people. I would beat Falco with god damn Bowser, I would get bored and just play against 3 lv 9 AI which wasn't hard at all for me back then. I literally spent countless hours playing this game for fun or for my competitive nature. Nobody ever beat me... No fucking person ever. But now I suck, you lose skill fast not playing those games for a while.

As I explained earlier in this post I was unsure where to put to this, I never played Banjo Tooie until it came out of on the Arcade for Xbox as I was younger and moved to England just as the game came out therefore not having an N64 anymore. Now the instant I bought this on Xbox I was like, "Why the fuck did I never get to play this?!". Literally Banjo Tooie is the peak of how good a sequel can get. The game itself doesn't necessarily improve (depends on your viewpoint) on BK but it feels different but in a good way. I could ramble on but I'm still playing through it without usage of internet to cheat so I'm still kind of stuck on it, please don't quote this spoiling the ending for me.

The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap is probably my favorite overhead Zelda game. It feels unique compared to many other Zelda games but it's still cute like Wind Waker and I love the dungeons, especially the first one and sky one.

How could I leave a game like Halo 3 out of this list. When it came out, all I remember is playing that game everyday for hours on end. Granted I don't play it now or Halo 4 (even though I have it). It just died out but the memory lingers on.

P.S. I still tear up to this day hearing the level completion from Star Fox 64.
