Was my thread hijacked?

Hey guys, yesterday evening I made a thread talking to people about Christmas and sharing what each of us got for Christmas, anyway I just went to check the thread by going to my activity, Says "So what did you get for Christmas" started by me, and I went on it and my first post sharing about what the thread is about and what I got for Christmas has been replaced by another person basically rewriting what I had said to start my topic.

Most of the 40 something replies I got within the first couple hours are gone?

What happened to my thread? I was kinda proud I had nearly 50 people reply to me (
