Okay guys I got a new monitor a asus 24" now is there anything I should do or need to do as far as calibrating and making the picture better and setuff like that. If so HALP!

Honestly there's very little you need to do.
1) Plug it in.
2) Set it to it's native resolution
3)... thats it.
Yes, monitors have drivers, but you very rarely need them. Usually for advanced features.
There are review sites who will calibrate the monitor with hardware and post the settings, that said it's not necessarily the settings your monitor works best with for that you'd the the hardware to calibrate it yourself, but those settings will give you a guideline to a good picture if you are having weird colours. Other than that just download drivers and plug it in really.
