There are some things I can recommend.
    1) Get faster memory. You can get 8 GB of 1600 for the same price, or maybe even less, depending on what brand you go with.
    2) The power supply you have only has 1 6+2 PCI-E connector, and the 7870 requires 2 6 PCI-E connectors. You can get a molex adapter (can't remember if it comes with it because I have that same exact PSU), but you'll get better performance if you don't have to use an adapter. You can either get a better PSU with 2 6 pin or 2 6+2 pin connectors with better wattage (especially if you want to overclock) or go down to the 7850, which only requires one connector. I'd still recommend getting more wattage either way.
    3) Don't forget an OS. You may already have one, but some people completely forget it, and then that adds $70+ to the price.

Also note the price went up $30 since you made it.

Thanks for all your recommendations. I went ahead and upgraded my RAM to this: http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=442...ture=G%2ESkill

But I'm still a bit confused about the PSU. Would this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...D=3938566&SID= work?

Yep, it has 1 6 pin connector and 1 6+2 pin connector, so it'll work with your GPU.

I think newegg has the corsair cx500 for 29.99 after MIR, which would probably be a better choice.
