Eh, world of warplanes isn't too bad (I'm in closed beta), but, yeah the controls are definitely taking some adjusting to.

So far I prefer World of Tanks much more.

I finally got me some heavies and, I gotta say, the Churchill I hasn't been as bad as I imagined it would be. Have had great games with it, so far.

Yet, I come ask for thy assistance once more: I also got the Kv-1 but I'm unsure as what gun to use. The 122mm is fun up close, but anything over 100m is just a pain to hit and that reload time is huge. I'm seriously considering going back to the previous gun (can't remember caliber), since it did have a much higher RoF and decent pen/dpm. My doubt is: Should I also research the 85mm gun and use that instead or just go back to the 70~something caliber gun?

i was forced to use 122mm on kvs and i hate it
get that 85mm asap it really makes grind for t6 a pleasure

my mate had been bugging me for months to reinstall it...game is to much of a grind for my taste.
Got my way to the KV-1 but damn is that thing slow :S

Using the BT-2 and BT-7 for some fun...used to hate the light tanks because of the crap match ups it's likely to give you...like getting pitted against a team that's half full of heavies, but when it matches you up in the tier 2 to 4's they are epic fun to just go mental in...blasting through enemy lines and about them causing mayhem and some pretty satisfying kills.

Any of you guys tried the SU-122-44? Got it a few days ago and damn that thing is badass, already got 2x Top Gun with it. Yet, the shell cost is a bit high. IF any of you uses it: Do you use HE shells at all? I keep like 10 of them just in case but so far I hadn't felt the need to use it (I'm still a major noob when it comes to pick which shells to use most of the time).

I use this nasty thing along with KV-5 to farm creds.
Yeah, su-122-44 is just that awesome, but you dont need HE on it at all, because due to wonderful mobility you can almost always outflank that you cant penetrate frontally(or just plainly use gold ammo).
My ammo on su-122-44( here in Russia they call it "Thunder" ) consists of 25 AP shells, 5 piercing shells, and 2 HE shells for somekind of emergency case, like meeting M18 Hellcat, f.e.
    Sure as sure

I see. I'll keep that in mind, thanks! That thing is indeed a best. It's probably the first tank I can easily bring down those nasty IS's in! I don't find it that highly mobile but that may be due to me being used to my Stug III (and now the JagPzIV which is utter shyte).

I play kv-1 with 85mm F-30. But you need too know weakspots of every tank or its usles.

Right now i am playing T-34-1 and its fun (compared too a s???y type 58).

Dont get too carried away tho, cause su-122-44 promotes risk and recklessness
JagPzIV is indeed, mediocre at best, especially due to weak gun.
but you must endure, and you shall be rewarded with a beast of a panther - JagdPanther

The REAL reason for ghost shells, screwed MM, shell-eating armor etc
Straight outta SerB's kitchen - he posted this on the RU forum as a proof all the conspiracy theories against you, dear players are.... correct!

Presenting to you: SerB's developer tool!

On the let side, SerB can select a nickname of the player he wishes to "take care of" - on the right side he has following options:

    - put the player to a noob team
    - put the player to the bottom of the team
    - make the player play against pros

    - make the shells disappear (?)
    - no penetrations
    - reduce XP income
    - reduce credit income
    - make the player stuck
    - when playing arty, put the player on city maps
    - Malinovka forever

    And on the right side:
    - damage dealt (reduced by 2, 3, 4....)
    - chance of fire (50 percent plus...)
    - chance of player module getting critted (the ticker under it means "crit your gun module first")
    - chance of player's crewmember dying (the ticker under it means "kill the gunner first")

And under it, the ultimate ticker:
"Remove player from this list automatically when he pays for premium account"

    Enjoy playing World of Tanks!

(PS...thats actuly true....but in more like casino way)

    Gotta try those Brit TDs.

Also, got my Tiger today (yey) and, since everyone talked so much shit about it, I guess I'm impressed. It isn't great but it's not half as bad as I expected. Pretty solid sniper.

Tried it on the test server, it's quite a fun tank.

Does have some downsides though, weak armour (Tier 9 and 10 guns will pen it like knives through butter, or, at least I was able to pen it with ease[was in an ST-I with top gun though, so take with grain of salt]), and shitty accuracy.
