Question Dream PC - 1000 EURO budget

Hello everyone. I am new to this site. I've been reading for sometime the threads and found the answers interesting, so I decided to post here in order to ask for you help.

Currently I am searching the net in order to find the most suitable parts for my dream pc with a budget of roughly 1000Euro.
This is the rig that I've come up with so far:

    1.CASE
    AEROCOOL XPREDATOR EVIL BLACK EDITION
    2.RAM
CORSAIR CMV8GX3M2A1333C9 VALUE SELECT 8GB (2X4GB) PC3-12800 DUAL CHANNEL KIT
    3.CPU
    INTEL CORE I7-3770 3.40GHZ LGA1155 - BOX
    4.GPU
    ASUS HD7850-DC2-2GD5-V2 2GB PCI-E RETAIL
    5.HARD DRIVE
OCZ VTX3MI-25SAT3-120G VERTEX 3 MAX IOPS 2.5'' SSD 120GB SATA III
    6.POWER SUPPLY
OCZ ZS SERIES POWER SUPPLY 650W
    7.MOTHERBOARD
I have 4 potential parts in this category:
    a.ASUS P8P67 DELUXE REV3.0
    b.ASUS P8Z77-V LX
    c.ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77
    d.Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard [GA-Z77X-UD5H]

This is my rig at this point.

The goals that I've set for the rig I've chosen are:

1.ability to O/C in the following 1-2 years
2.sufficient cores/fsb/Ghz in order to be able to play some heavy games in mid-high settings with satisfying fps (within reason i dont wish for anything astronomical like 99999 fps in crysis or something)
3.sufficient processing power for reasonable 3D rendering etc. due to university class
4.I may add a second graphics card in the near future (when i get the funds :P)

Finaly i will probably add an aftermarket cpu cooler later on in oredr to O/C.

I would like to know what you think about the rig as it is now, and would like to ask you to tell me if you have any suggestions in order to improve it.

Thats all, thanks in advance for your help. Please reply asap.

    Firstly:

You cannot overclock that CPU. Only K model cpus can be overclocked.
Get a different power supply. Something from Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, XFX.

How much rendering will you be doing? Will it be more than ~6 hours per day (of actual rendering processing)? If not, get an i5 3570K instead and put the 100 euros to use somewhere else.

Does the rendering software support CUDA? If yes, get an nVidia card instead of the AMD; you'll be rendering two to four times as fast as with a CPU.

First of all thank you for your answer

Uhm... no i don't think that the rendering is gonna take that long, but no Hyperthreading? I thought that this new feature was supposed to help with gaming and generarly stuff that use mainly/heavily 2 cores, but there is no Hyper on the 3570k is it wise to throw it out of the window?

You mentioned changing the Power supply. Do you mean to get one with higher/lower output or just change the brand?

As for the CUDA I don't know yet. Is that the only reason why I should change the GPU?

Games do not, in general, use HT in any way at all.

Different brand, about the same wattage. Seasonic M12ii, Seasonic X series; Corsair HX, AX series, Antec HPG series; XFX Pro series are good PSUs.

Which programs are you going to use for the 3D rendering?

Do you have any preferences on certain websites to buy from? I'm asking because I know some friends who always wanted to collect their goods.

As for HyperThreading, this feature tends to only be available on the Intel Core i7 series, and not the i5. For instance, over the years, the i5-750, i5-2500k and now the i5-3570k, all never HT. This is as opposed to the i7-860, i7-920-990, i7-2600k and now the i7-3770k, which all supported it.

Note that HT makes almost no diff in the majority of games, and I've even heard of stories of it causing more bad than good - I had a friend who reported some stuttering and high temps during gaming, and I advised him to disable HT, and that actually fixed both things for him. If you're primarily gaming, with just a little bit of some of the mentioned stuff that you're planning to do at University, then I'd still recommend the i5-3570k over i7-3770, in order to save some money.

uhm i was actualy talking about the turbo boost, I confused the names sorry just today i found out about those two. :P

I am not gonna be overclocking for at least 8-9 months,so do you think that the 3570k is gonna be sufficient with the stock cooler and without tampering with the bios at all, for the tasks I mentioned before until I can start o/cing it?

    Yes, yes you will.

In 8-9 months time you could invest in a good aftermarket CPU cooler and start OC'ing if you so desire, the 3570k at stocks speeds is still a beast nonetheless.

Apparently Autocad can utilize CUDA, so I'd go with a nVidia card for that matter.

i7 + GTX 670 on a 450w PSU even a good one is going to be rough especially if he wants to OC anything at all. I'd drop to the i5 3750k and upgrade the PSU. OP said he wants to SLI, not a chance on that PSU.

It's more than enough, he can't have a SLI-capable PSU and get the i7-3770k at the same time, so I picked what would be the best for him right now.

    Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 620W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply (€83.62 @ Amazon Deutchland)

I use autocad alot and has rigged my PC for that program. I7 CPU and a powerful Nvidia card is what you want and a shitload of RAM. That way you get to do other things at the same time as rendering. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Oh yes.

Then you might want to contact nVidia and tell them that their specifications are wrong.

    660 is 130-140w
    660ti is 150w
    670 is 170w

They also recommend a 500w on a single GTX 670.

That is because they have to assume that people will be getting a piece of shite 25 dollar 500W PSU that delivers 300W of its rated power on the 5V and 3.3V rails.

    Hello,

Firstly I want to thank everybody for your speedy responses

Secondly I have once again encountered a dilemma. Should I go for RAM at 1600 CL9 or something like 1333 CL7?
Which one do you think would be more appropriate for the aforementioned purposes?
