Do you guys over analyze commercials?

I rarely watch TV and uses adblock when i surf on the internet, so i don't see many commercials. So it's quite hard to know if i'm analyzing them or not. But i've seen a Swedish commercial using viral videos and that kinda pisses me off for some reason.

whenever there's a commercial I usually bring out my phone or I'll start to think about what's on my mind, but I will agree that when I watch commercials there's usually at least one thing that makes me call the commercial stupid.

I think my biggest random pet peeve is those commercials where there's a woman talking about how amazing this dish washing product is, or this detergent. Just once I'd like to see a guy talking about how much FUN it is to do laundry.

If I'm in the shop with two articles, let's call them X and Y and I know X because of it's annoying commercials in the middle of an F1 race, for example, I'll pick Y, because Y didn't fuck up with my time

Sometimes I look at a commercial and think well that was ineffective. I'm rarely actually persuaded to buy a product because of a product or spokesman. I just find it odd how some commercials pass when so underwhelming. Just saw this state farm commercial with norm macdonald (who is supposed to be funny) and the commercial just wasn't funny at all. Cure auto insurance has mike vick in a new commercial (try to leave the prison thing out of it, totally irrelevant) and he looks like he's just reading the lines and is not enthusiastic. I think when your comedian isn't funny or your spokesman isn't enthusiastic the advertising is ineffective.

I love the ATT commercials with the kids and I hope they keep doing them.

I hate Taco Bell commercials with a passion. Will never go there because of their commercials. Sorry but nobody is driving 1,000 miles to get a doritos locos microwaved taco. And your not the hero of the party for bringing a taco bell 12 pack.

Nope. I don't really pay attention to commercials unless they're shit like the Old Spice Guy or they annoy me. One in particular was a commercial for tampons with a woman obnoxiously complaining about obnoxious tampon commercials.

I never watch commercials next to Old Spice commercials...and I look those up on youtube.

Can't recall the last time I watched commercials for longer than 5 secs...prob because everything I watch is on PC now. TV is outdated.
