US - Eitrigg - <Bank Space is Magic>
Delupi, Amoora, Jisu, Beahru, Rusa, Yeun, Neralyis, Usii, Razzil, Zaramja, Oshaz, Shawnie, Iziss, Gearsi(A)
My GM can't give 2 shits about anything regarding names.
Epicenter? EPIDEMIC.
Garalon? GALLEON, GALLEONA, GARA'JAL.
Those are verbal "spelling" mistakes, mind you, constantly shouted on Mumble while 3-4 of us are getting used to correct him to avoid more confusion.
In all this years I've never seen anyone spell "rogue" to be honest..
Nothing annoys me more than when people say probally/prolly instead of probably.
Ogrimmar, yeah I went there, looking at you two moons!
dictated but not read.
The fact that people think that there is a letter "h" somewhere in exalted.
Your and You're really bugs me, because they really do mean totally different things and I wish that if people didn't understand the difference, they should just stick to "You are" (rather than use you're).
Being a native English speaker but learning Finnish, I can honestly say that the "lose / loose" is one that will probably change in the English language due to it sounding more logical when an emphasis is put on the "oo". In Finnish, letters are always pronounced the exact same way, but "lose" in English, is definitely an oddity (take pose, hose and rose as examples).
Yeah, first two are annoying, rest are just a ''just saying'' factor
- pl0x <--- plox <--- plz <--- pls <--- please. Come on. It's enough.
- Using ''lol'' in every sentence. Every sentence. Excuse me, do you have some kind of illness or something? Maybe a sub-conscious laughing disorder?
- Most common miss-spell I see is people saying ''dieing'' instead of ''dying''
- A lot of people miss-spelling They're, Their, You're, Your, His, He's etc. This helps:

wat (what)
My eyes bleed when I notice this in chat.
Z.
I don't use it in every sentence, but in-game or via text I can get pretty bad with the lol. I usually use it when I'm being sarcastic or making a joke that has a tone that could be taken offensively. I also use it to show slight amusement at something. I rarely laugh IRL when I say lol. Mostly it means you amused me or I find it humorous. If I chuckle I put LOL, and if I straight up laugh I'll put lmao or rofl.
Misspelling or misstating words like:
Rouge (Rogue)
Inscriptionist (Scribe)
Than (Then)
halp (help)
guise (guys)
kthxbai (ok thanks bye)
plz or plx (please)
LF Partial Trainer (turned out to be Portal Trainer)
LF Leveling Guild (translates to "I am lazy and don't wanna level the alt I made when I got bored on my main")
There's probably another 10 or 15 I could toss in there, but I'm sure I covered the heavy hitters.
Some of you people wailing over the death of all language over a single "definately" need to seriously reconsider your outlook.
Do you think Noam Chomsky just types out perfectly proof-read manuscripts? Implying that someone doesn't care about language or grammar if they ever dare to make a simple mistake is asinine at best, malicious at worst.
Edit: OT, I tend to notice glaring issues but I rarely say anything or really care that much. Honestly, if you have a fit over these errors every time you'd be putting yourself in danger of an aneurysm, they're simply too common.
The only time I cared, especially to say something, in recent memory:
"LF Inscriptor"
"Need Inscriptorer pst"
"LF Inscriptioner" etc, on and on for a few minutes.
The person appeared to be genuinely grateful, but I mostly cared that they stopped spamming relentlessly.
