Getting tired while playing Borderlands 2

    Hello guys!

I wanted to ask you a question, I've been googling around but so far I haven't found an answer.

Whenever I start playing BL2 (I play with friends) everything is fine, but after 10 - 15 minutes I start to feel really tired. I almost fell asleep when we we're playing it once. I really don't have a clue how this happens.. I'm never tired when I start playing it, it really just jumps on to me.

I never had any problems like this before. I can play any game. I also don't have glasses or visionary problems (as far as I know). I also played Borderlands 1 without problems so I don't think it's about the graphics.

I hope you guys know the answer, because I can never play BL2 for a long period of time.

    Thanks for reading!

I know my brother has kinda the same problem, not as kinda severe as you seem to have but still, some problems.
I think it may be from the weird kinds of graphics that the game has. I can imagine it would be kinda bad for some people who have visionary disabilities from earlier so they use glasses or something.
I myself have no problem at all.

I think you need to visit your local GP for this one. A few questions and a small checkup should do you fine. Maybe MMO-Champion should have a 'health and gaming' section for posts such as these?

I don't see how the cel-shaded graphics style has anything to do with it, cel-shaded games have existed for a long time in various forms (not to mention in the original Borderlands).

That aside, I have no idea what it could be. Unless, you know, the only time you guys can play is late at night -_-

I also don't have glasses or visionary problems (as far as I know, I'll go ask to get a check-up on my eyes though). I also played Borderlands 1 without problems so I don't think it's about the graphics. Should've put that in the main post, sorry I'll add it.

This is why it's confusing me so much, haha..

Same exact thing happens to me when I try to level a new toon in wow. As soon as i hit the barrens I start getting sleepy it happens with every new toon. I just chalk it up to my subconscious telling me it is bored :P
tl;dr Is just another way of saying I am about to troll

But I don't think BL2 is boring, I hate it that I can't play it hours after hours. That's why I want the solution, so I can be even more addicted.

Really? And why wouldn't it? Its fact that colors, specifically base colors, can stir certain types of emotion. Why wouldn't there be something in the games graphics that, for this particular person, trip some sort of sensor in their brain making them sleepy? Its also very possible that the OP has something going on with their eyes and the brain with cell shaded graphics. maybe its not the graphics at all but the colors. It could be anything really.

Ill tell you something else too. I've never been able to stay awake during any of the 007 movies starring Daniel Craig. Seriously. Casino Royal, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall left me sleeping in the theater. I love the movies, but I cannot stay awake for the life of me. Something in the movie whether its the score, the lighting, something puts me right to sleep about 20 min in no matter what.

Probably the nauseating art style the game has.

I've been playing through BL2 as well and I can't play more than 2-3 hours at a time, because I just get tired, although that may have something to do with my wonky sleep schedule.
