    Healing with Halo

    My tooltip says it heals for 126k but at ideal range it never even surpasses 40k.
    Is this a tooltip error or am I missing something?

    It has a target cap that it diminishes after you pass to keep the overall healing the same.

    I do.

    @Chimaera
    Oh, that's something I didn't know. Kind of disappointed but oh well - guess I'll stick with Cascade. Thanks.

    no it does not, it never has for the damage or healing portion.

    you can have a 3 million total heal on 24 people stacked(assuming nearly no crits) its just hard to pull off

    That was a bug, and diminishing returns was properly added back into the spell.

    on Halo? no it hits for millions of damage or healing I would definitely notice if it just healed for like less than 200k total this is as of an hour ago on live

    It does do diminishing returns.
    At full range it will hit for approx 60-80k depending on gear, critting for upwards of 140k per player, max of 6 players, if it hits more than 6, it starts splitting the max it can heal per player down so it hits them all.
    If you're stacked, divine star will do much more healing in a 25man situation, marginally more in a 10man.

    In general Cascade is the way to go for 25 player.
    Arguments can be made for DS depending on the fight.
