WoW gets invasions in 5.2!

Seems like WoW are going to be getting some nice zandalari invasions in 5.2!

"Zandalari mobs will spawn in Pandaria zones, that will take small groups to defeat. They have a chance to drop crafting materials, reputation gains, an achievement, and even the chance to get one of three new rare mounts!"

Some nice rewards too!

sounds like a thing they are borrowing from rift, and that is a key seller for rift fans, my self being a rift junkie as well as a wow junkie lol

Probably goin to be moved to the WoW general forum...since you know its WoW related.

Very much RIFT related too, its nice to see other games borrowing things from each other to make their games more enjoyable, i play both RIFT and WoW at the moment.

No just pointing out similarities, i like the idea of WoW having invasions.

It's how ideas thrive, I didn't even know Rift did this sort of thing. I'm very single minded >.>

No just pointing out similarities, i like the idea of WoW having invasions.

Well to point out even further you can say that Rift borrowed from WoW originally because the Naxxramas 40 event had invasions throughout the world where you had to defeat for a few quests, I believe one gave you a unique tabard.

Closing this down as it's more of a discussion about WoW, and I can't see this going anywhere but a game vs. game debate (unfortunately).
