Challange Mode Gear

When you complete all challenge modes on gold, are you able to get the gear on an alt aswell? I've seen alot of people's alt that has got the gear but not done any CM but GM's said it wasnt possible

There was a bug 5.1 which gave the achievement to alts letting them get the gear, it eventually got fixed and the challenge mode gear removed but not from the items they already transmogrified so some are still using it.

The phoenix eggs didnt get removed. I got the silver medal mounts on my alts ^^

This would explain why I have seen people on the armory with the transmog, but no gold run credit. I thought it was an API bug just not displaying their runs.
