1 Simple Weak Aura Request - please help!

Hey there

I'm trying to create some auras and I really like one Fraggoji from Paragon uses. I'm having a really tough time creating one of the auras.

I have 2 questions:

1. I would like a weakaura for Sacred Shield.
- When it's on another player, it must display their name and change colour (green preferably)
- When it's on me, it should just be a standard icon with the timer on it.



In this video, at 5.40, the sacred shield icon is green and displays Sejtas name. At around 1.50, it's just a normal aura. How would I do this?

2. Also, how do I put different bits of text in different areas of the icon and also change the colour of certain parts of the text? e.g. timer at the bottom middle, no. of stacks at the top right etc

Note: The target name and the green aura are two separate auras, meaning that the targets name is a "Text" aura while the icon with timer is an "Icon" aura.

Answer to #2: You can change the color because they are separate components from the actual "icon" they're on. Like if you see the "text" aura in the Target Green Aur group you can change the color of the text by itself. You must position this "text" aura ON the icon, so it looks like it's a part of the icon, when it's actually not. You CAN however, change the color of the timer within a sole "icon" aura, the colored square is right next to the "Text Position" dropdown.

They all work perfectly, however, the icon seems to be overlapping the text. How can I fix that?

EDIT - Managed to fix it. I had to put the text aura at the bottom of the group so it had the highest priority.

Yeah, just worked it out!

How would I go about changing the shape of the aura to match the one in the video? (the standard ones have kinda rounded edges, where as the one in the video is just a black rectangle with no rounded edges.)



Also, I had a go at making a Bastion of Glory aura (like the one to the left of the Sacred Shield one in the video), but it isn't working. I made a group with the Bastion of Glory aura and a text aura. However, the text aura is not showing for some reason. Could you tell me what I've done wrong?

I cannot seem to find where I have to install it. I go to programfiles\wow\interface, but there is no icons folder.

There isn't a folder, the ICONS folder that comes with it is the new folder that will go in C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface meaning that you will move the ICONS folder INTO the Interface folder. So you will see AddOns and ICONS as two separate folders whenever you open Interface.

Hey, when I use the green aura thingy, it shows ME as the target aswell! Which then overlaps or activates both the original on me and the target (green one). Any idea? (This happens when I'm in a group)
