yeah yeah 'just to see what people say'... i bet u did that and now ur conscience is in serious conflict
well im betting that cat woudnt really eat another cat, unless it was extremly starved... in wildlife cats kill eachother, but i dont think that they eat that stuff.

Yes, but the options on the poll are terrible.

Domestic Cats & Wild Cats are very different animals. Domestic Cats don't go hunting other Cats to kill and eat them. They fight them for territory, but not for food.

"Would it be wrong to feed a cat another cat?"

Your answers don't make sense when compared to that question.

But i'll go with my feelings; you shouldn't feed a cat to another cat because... I don't know it's just morally wrong.

  6. #6
I don't see anything wrong with it on a moral level though I am a little twisted and generally consider cats nothing more than semi friendly vermin.
I doubt one cat would eat the raw flesh of another though I bet if you seasoned/cooked it like a steak the other cats would indeed eat it.

Actually let me rephrase that, I would actually take pity on a mouse suffering in a glue trap, as I don't hate them, they do what they do to servive.
Cats on the otherhand get everything handed to them and they still tend to be assholes.

hmm, seems like the options in the poll are wrong..

    you ask: is it wrong?

    and the answers is:

Is it wrong? Naaah it's allright! nothing should eat a poor kitty kat.
Is it wrong? Naaah it's allright! it's only cannibalism, nothing serious.

Is it wrong? YES it is wrong! animals should NEVER eat other annimals! (not like that happens every day around the world ofc..)
Is it wrong? Yes, it is wrong!!! although, i would like to see if the cat would laugh as it was eating the other one..

you got the NO! and YES! wrong

I'm curious if they'd eat it at all. Are we assuming the dead cat has been butchered and cooked, or are you talking about "whelp, just killed this shitbag encroaching my territory... hmm, kinda hungry now"?

I've always wondered if cannibalism is something that could be sustainable in a population of intelligent animals.

Well, mad cow was spread by feeding cow to cows, so surely it's not healthy for animals to eat other members of it's species.
I don't think this matters nearly as much as you think it does.

Pretty much that. Animals (including humans) usually don't eat their own species and in cases where they do repetitively they develop brain diseases. Humans attribute all kinds of other reasons not to, but biologically it's not a good idea in general.

Also the comment about your poll results not being Accurate to the question is right... do you want me to edit them (or the thread title to make the options make sense) for you?

  11. #11
Well that'd be cannibalism to the cat. I think even in their inferior cat brains they'll find something wrong with that.

It'd play out something like this, only with less cheery music.

I don't really have anything to contribute... I'd just like to express my false anger for making me spit a little bit of my drink when I stumbled upon the thread title.

Wouldn't diseases and bacteria be killed during the cooking process?

It's kind of cruel and... weird, but if you think it these way, they're animals, they don't do anything wrong cause they do what they do to survive and based in instints.
