I fondly remember having to travel all the way through the BRD instance to get to the Molten Core instance. This sucked if you joined the raid late (and didn't have a warlock in raid) or if you for some reason couldn't be rezzed because BRD re-spawned after a while and was tough to get through solo without help.

I remember the epic guild battles outside of BRM.

That run from Teldrassil to Ironforge!!!

After finally getting into WoW in 2005 and starting a Night Elf I realised to quest with my friends I had to get to Westfal, So one evening my Bro suggested that he should escort me to Westfal.

Having only explored Teldrassil and already feeling like the zone was fairly large, I crossed to water to Darkshore and then again to the Eastern Kingdoms.. then started that perilous run past all those gaters, I died a couple of times because my bro was getting a little bored of having to escort me, I was more suprised at what was at the other end of the boat ride and this new marshland... eventually it twisted up into mountain ranges and I headed found Ironforge and proceeded deep into a mountain and came to the Deeprun tram... after this I walked out into a huge Castle... and then out into elywnn... then onto westfal... If I remember rightly the whole trip took longer than 30 mins, more than anything though I was suprised at the different landscapes and music for each zone telling a different story... it was pretty cool.

-Paladin seals lasting 30 seconds. Damn, I'll never miss that as long as I live.

-Whole talent trees being unusable for raids up until WotLK (Retribution Paladin being the worst offender)

-I remember Blackrock Spire feeling sooo huge back when I first did it and now that I know BRS like the back of my hand, it doesn't feel so epic. Favourite instance ever, it is just fantastic how the Blackrock are all organised into cool legions, Ogres, Forest Trolls. The reason my avatar is Rend Blackhand.

-Ghost wolf running from Undercity to Gnomergan. That was an absolute mission, getting past the tunnel guards.

-Old Deadmines. We will remember you, Mr Smite.

-Barrens (now only Northern Barrens) and Durotar music will always have a place in my fond memories.

-Feeling doomed in the East Plaguelands mushroom forest then shitting a brick when I looked up and saw Naxxramas just floating about.

-Related to above, hated the High Elves and trolls in East plaguelands.

-The flight master tower in old Orgrimmar was always a pain in the backside.

-Walking around Hinterlands as a young noob and going to the north east exploring and OMFG HUGE GREEN DRAGON!!!!! RUUUUUUUN!!!!!

actually i played a paladin after switching alliance.
the hardest part about charger quest was getting the gold. i spent roughly 660g or so on it. fishing deviates, then cooking them myself made me huge profit as alliance. dire maul and scholo entrances were expolitable if you didnt have a key.
i cant speak for warlocks because i didnt play one till late BC, and didnt even get to cap once wotlk was out.

Wall jumping/ /stuck slipping into dead zones and unfinished areas. Reading about a hidden cave on the backside of ZG and the supposed npc that would sell a limited stock mount to those brave or crafty enough to find said cave.

Also the cave above IF that you had to wall jump to. That was coded to be Silithus. Then whispering players "give you 500g" if you can find me. And watching as at least 15 people flew to Silithus to look.
