Like many others have said Id also prefer world of starcraft, imagine what they could do with that... epic spaceship battles. a whole galaxy to explore omg epic
There is only one god and his name is Sargeras.
Also I've just started playing Blackthorne, as the guy in the article said World of Diablo-like could hint at Blackthorne, and from the style and the atmosphere I can really see how those two are close to each other.
And remember Blizzard registered the Project Blackstone domain. While it could be related to Diablo, maybe a new expansion, it could also be Blackthorne.
The main argument against a Diablo MMO, that I have, is that we would basicallly lose the original Diablo as a dungeoncrawler, like we lost Warcraft as an RTS.
And since Mynsc pointed out that only Zarhym mentioned once in 2009 that it's going to be an original IP, it's not really that big of a lie. Blackthorne is not one of the 3 popular franchises, there was only one game, and most people probably don't know it.

(Firefall) - All Battleframes -
(Warframe) - Tiger -
(Neverwinter) - Trickster Rogue -
(Vindictus) - Vella -
Personally, I'd rather it was completely new and had nothing to do with Diablo or Starcraft... leave them to their respective genres.
Then again, it's all rumour so I'll just wait until I hear something that is actually official. Anyone can make up stuff like you read on that link.
FYI, Titan will feature huge blood-sucking space vampires! (Obviously not true but you see my point. All it takes is a small amount of brain power to create a half decent and believable rumour.)

Diablo is too close to Warcraft (fantasy). So I guess it's a F2P Starcraft MMO. That way they have a very stable fanbase in Korea and Starcraft is also getting two addons so the Starcraft hype will help to sell it a few months later. With a Starcraft MMO they cover all the Sci-Fi fans that never liked the Warcraft Fantasy Setting.

Whenever I read a reply to me that starts with, "So what you're saying is..." -- and I've read so, so many -- my first thought is,
"What I'm saying is what I'm saying, otherwise I would've said something else."- Zarhym June 2015
Diablocraft? Would it not be just World of Diablo? Why do we need to add craft on the end?
That's like people who add "Gate" to stuff to make it like Watergate. "Ohh this is Mad Cowgate!" The hotel isn't called the Water hotel! Gah!
Also, nah. I can't wait till we get our first look but I doubt it has anything to do with Diablo.
Now, I know even what he came up with was all rumors and nothing concrete, but what information has come out since then (even if it's rumors) that leads us to believe the FPS aspect is now gone?
Diablo mmo, hmmmmm interesting I could go for that.
Honestly though, starcraft makes more sense to me.

going to state the obvious without reading the whole thread Starcraft space mmo kinda thing. I'm sure Titan is a spaceship
Besides, it's well established that it's a SPIN OFF. It's about some elements that are isolated from the series, and developed diverging from the usual way. Diablo is the LEAST prone to that, because everything is limited to Sanctuary and its 2 planes.
WoW and SC have lots of explorers lost away from home, and they could even make a spin-off using people from BOTH IPs mixing.
