[Megathread] Pokémon X and Y / Generation 6

This is something I've wanted for ages now, and one of the biggest reasons why Silver was by far and wide my favorite of all the series. The end game extension to battle the original trainers and Elite Four was a great idea that everything beyond has sadly lacked.

I'd have to agree, an MMO would be one of the best moves Nintendo could ever make. I could definitely see sales numbers for it rivaling the biggest franchises in the gaming industry.

Just one of the many reasons Silver was *awesome*. The re-balancing of the weakness chart and the introduction of Dark and - much more importantly - steel types. I loved Gen 2 as much as Gen 1 (though some of the Pokemon felt *really* wierd, like Flaafy). I, too, have been wishing for a "You beat the Elite 4, congratuatlions! Now go play in this new region!" game since Silver.

Neither grimer/muk nor koffing/weezing were created by some Mew clone DNA waste runoff. Hell, the explanation for Grimer's existence is that x-rays from the moon turned pollution into a pokemon. Why can't they just use the same excuse for trubbish/garbodor or vanillite/vanillish/vanilluxe?
