If we're really, really, really, really lucky we might find something resembling a mushroom.

It's just common sense. Just because it has happened doesnt mean it will happen again. I'll give you a similar example. Id guess youre younger than 100? The Earth is 4.5 billion years old which is astronomic compared to your age. It's also quite big. Does that mean there was another you in the past not related to you but almost a perfect copy in every way? Even if millions of billions of years pass, there wont be another you on Earth.
Just because intelligent life exists on earth doesnt mean it exists anywhere else. Life isn't just some piece of rock that starts splitting and evolving all of a sudden. If you had any idea how complicated even the simplest virus is you wouldnt think it's something thats just bound to happen in right conditions. Not only that but intelligence doesnt have to happen at all. Life on Earth lasted for billions or years, maybe 10th of the age of the universe (which is extremely lucky, considering all the natural disasters that could have wiped it out), if not more before it happened and it hasn't been a straightforward progress either. Evolution is ADAPTION not progress. It doesnt mean the life gets better, it just adapts better. It might even make humans dumber in the future if it has advantages for reproducing..
It is 17billion planets in our galaxy that is placed at the correct distance from the sun for life as we know it to develop... and yet that's only our galaxy... there is like 17billion galaxy and more more more more more... if there is only 1 planet with life it would be retarded
It exists black holes that are 300million times bigger than our solar system....
Mind fuck initiated
and yes we have more than 1 sun in the galaxy. we live in a galaxy called the milky way.
