A missed opportunity so to say

Portugal ranked 30, not bad in 200 + countries. We will get back on our feet from the economic crisis and get even higher on the list in a few years. It's an awesome country, beautiful, great beaches and some really nice places to live, of course like any other country has better and worse places. If i was not born in Portugal i think i would like to be born in Canada or Australia, people from both countries seem very friendly and from what i know they are both awesome countries to live.

yeah we win!! or lets say, my (potential) future children will win :-)
Not really that astonishing, Switzerland just is a wonderfull place to live, I'm so happy to live here. (even if it wasn't rank 1 in 1989)
Hard to see Norway maintaining a high position when their oil runs out, and any other country that relies on non replacable resources. I suppose at least they spread that oil money around so i can understand their high position unlike some arab countries.
