Fang Kung, Spark of Titans (510) vs Taoren, the Soul Burner (504)

I have a question (rather theoretical) on which weapon is better? Normal Taoren (with gem, 2/2 upgrade, 504 ilvl) or heroic Fang Kung (2/2 upgrade, 510ilvl). Which one gives more dps? Consider only these two options.

Here are both weapons (gun without gem, just add 500 agi):

I would say taoren with the gem is better, however, I have no reliable source for this, so do some SimC and test it out with that.

Taoren - but if you have WOTE heroic down, lei shi should be a walk in the park for the heroic version.

this has been discussed in other threads quite often, the consensus was that taoren beats fang, even when being one raid-tier lower.
ie taoren hc >> taoren > fang hc >> taoren lfr > fang >> fang lfr.
but not by a huge amount (indicated by one >). some have done the simming and claimed so, I haven't done it myself, so no guarantee on that.
oh and this is mainly from a BM/SV perspective, it'll be different for MM

What is up with this growing trend in game and on WoW forums where it is somehow inappropriate to ask a simple damn question.

Maybe he has simmed it and wants additional input.... Maybe he did not know about femaledwarf....
