Was Doraleous and Associates based of WoW?

For those of you who have seen it, do you think there are any similarities between Doraleous and Associates and WoW?

Basically its a few classes that team up and go fight evil out in the world. There are a lot of references that are made that WoW makes as well while questing. Thoughts?

This is why we need a MOTU MMO! As far as fantasy universes go, its universe is actually pretty deep and imaginative and has a lot that's unique to the genre.
