[CES 2013] Corsair Obsidian 900 Ultimate Chassis revealed/announced!

    Discuss the new monster here!

    ---------- Post added 2013-01-08 at 04:20 PM ----------

Okay, after watching the video, I am SERIOUSLY excited to see the finalized product and then the reviews! This thing is an absolute beast and it looks like Corsair is really pulling out the stops on this one! I love it!

    Few things:

Drunkenvalley is going to buy one, mark my words.
    Cyanotical might buy one.
I might replace my HAF X with this if it turns out as good as it is looking... ;o

Yeah, 10 bucks on Drunkenvalley getting this. (And Proshop will lose his case again)

It was komplett.no. Who was supposed to send a Cosmos II. Then it failed to show on any form of tracking. So they sent a new one. But the one they'd lost just literally appeared without any prior warning.

Also, it was for my brother's PC, not mine.

That said, very little interest. There would've been a size that I'd be interested in, but this is just balls-to-the-wall big. Far too big imo, in fact.

They didn't really give any actual dimensions... so I daresay you can't be sure on it being too big. ;D

    Here's the dimensions:

    25.7×27.32×9.88in

As according to the specifications from Corsair anyways.

    Aha.

If that's true, then that puts it still a bit smaller than the Cosmos 2... and it looks like they've built it to be far superior.

If it is more adaptable than the Cosmos2 and can fit the same amount of stuff in it, then outside dimensions are kinda irrelevant, are they not (other than for the question of whether the damn thing would fit on/under/next to one's desk of course)

Quick estimate gives me something along the lines of 850mm height, 725mm width, and 540mm depth. That's just a rough estimate judging by the video. If i've got the cash spare when release rolls around, i'll definitely grab this. 800D air cooling is just poor. Really wish they'd shown the side panel though. Would be interested to see if they've opted for something similar.

Nice! Kinda makes me rethink my cheapness of not wanting to spend more than $150 ( and less would be better ) on a case... I just wish I could justify it to myself to spend the 200+ this bad boy will probably cost.

**oh yeah the 800d is $280, I am almost positive thats gonna land around there or the 300 mark then. FFS though thats a bad mfer......

I have a Level 10 GT Snow Edition... so I probably won't be grabbing one of these anytime soon, just redid my watercooling loop, but that is one sweet case. Dual PSU is pretty cool idea.

Never convert USD to Euros directly.

    $1 = 1 Euro, sometimes more.

I don't need the dimensions to see the stupid amounts of extra space in the video.

It's the case (see what I did there?) for the 800D tho. Eventho it's 3 years old.

Pretty nice, I'm past all the LED lighting and side windows phase personally which is why I like the 600tm so much, it's pretty discret. This could be nice but it's still quite hard to tell how it looks in that video!

I am pretty sure I nearly wet myself.

    That is a gorgeous case.

Unfortunately for Corsair, my next build will be ITX.
