    Bassguitar on computer.

    Hey,

I'm going to start playing bass, there is one thing i'm still not sure about. Since i still live at my parents due to study, i was hoping to avoid using an amp for sound (i dont think they'd enjoy my music). My idea was to get a good Audio card, and plug it in that, coupled with a nice audiophile headset.
Would it be possible? And would there be an off chance of produced by the soundprocessor of for example this:
    http://www.asus.com/Multimedia/Audio...specifications

And would playback be any less than i would get at a conventional amp. (given a high enough quality headset, for example Sennheiser HD600ish).

    sincerely,

It works for both guitar and bass if you really want to use your PC and a headset. You could also look at the Line 6 POD line of products.
