Note on Manhwa, some people go by Korean, it is also the Chinese Mandarin pronunciation. (Presumption your pronunciation is actually correct).Video Games (rate each Sub Category For your Video Game Rating)

34. I really don't do any of that. I enjoy sci-fi/horror books and movies and I enjoy video games. That is pretty much it.
I'm a nerd that goes off the charts. Most real life things I will try to relate to video games to try and make them cooler. Like for example exercising, if I were to start exercising the only way I could keep going is think that I'm in a way leveling up my stats like strength, stamina, and speed. I also much rather dress as a favorite video game character or something that looks like it's from a video game than normal clothes. I don't though because people would think I'm crazy or knowing how stupid people are these days they would call the cops in fear I might be planning something evil or something stupid. I obviously play LOTS of video games of all types no matter how old they are. I'm into fantasy and sci-fi things like movies, anime, or any sort of show. So basically I'm like a hyper elite nerd general that likes anything nerdy-like and I'm very much proud of it.

I came in at 49.
Seems a little low tbh. I didn't get any points from some sections and a ton from others, such as MTG.
I sat alone in the dark one night, tuning in by remote.
I found a preacher who spoke of the light, but there was Brimstone in his throat.
He'd show me the way, according to him, in return for my personal check.
I flipped my channel back to CNN and lit another cigarette.

I got 69, if i did everything right.
I know ppl that can speak Kligon, things like that should probably multiply your overall score.
"Privilege is invisible to those who have it."
37, but I'd consider myself a nerd. Just because I enjoy but don't obsess over one thing there =|
So what you're saying is you're ashamed of telling your friends who you really are and what you really like? That's one of the saddest thing I have ever heard. As for the bolded part, do you do everything in life according to pop culture? I really don't know how to respond to this, I feel ashamed to share a race with people like this.
On topic. 189. I got confused by the scoring system. Am I allowed only a 6 if I really really like it? If nor I would be over 210 easily.
Quite a few actually. I don't do it myself, but it's just a hobby like any other. I don't see why LARPing is more nerdy/geeky than anything else.
I mean, the basic definition of a geek is 'someone who has something they are really passionate about'. Originally it only focused on the socially unacceptable hobbies at the time, but now the definition is much more broad. You have sports geeks, computer geeks, acting geeks, film geeks, etc.
Everyone is passionate about something. LARPing is something to be passionate about. To give an example to put it all into perspective, I'd consider someone who occasionally LARPs with friends and has an appreciation for the hobby less geeky than someone who religiously watches every single football match for their favourite team (and even football matches for other teams too), goes to watch the match at the stadium whenever possible, collects all the merchandise for their team, etc.
With the above definitions in mind, I honestly don't see how LARPing is worth more points than anything else. It's just a different hobby.
Scored a fair bit more than I thought I would actually - 72
Made up a fair few points in the films and tv/animation sections because I have quite an large dvd collection and watch them quite often
Am I the only one smiling about "consul games"? . OP you might want to fix that.... Console games. Consuls are diplomats, representatives of countries off shore..
You got that nerd term wrong somehow.... The moment it is a profession, or profession related, your point system has to go into the negative numbers. So I was thinking, which is never good. And even though I dislike to popularization of Nerd Culture I do freely admit we have a Nerd Culture So I developed a List of Primary Topic which Nerds might do as hobbies or careers.
So the way to Figure out your Nerd Rating is to go down the list and see which items fit you.
Using a 0-10 scale rate your self on these topics
You get 1 point for enjoying it, 3 points for small collections, 6 points for obsession, 9 for working in the related industry. So if you Make money playing Magic you are either a 9 or a 10 on MTG.
A job is a necessity, and contact with related products is an essential necessity thereof in the entertainment industry (of which games are a part).
Literature is hardly nerdy. It's part of basic education, every civilized being should have literature knowledge.. And I am not talking about comic books.
LARP.. Same here, if it is a profession task it has zero to do with being a nerd. You mixing up geeks with nerds, I suspect.
My nerd score by this list and definitions is less than 10.
