Widow venom on Fear platform adds?

Anyone know for sure if the platform adds on Sha of Fear can have widow venom work against them? Ideally, no orbs get sucked up of course but if they do and it heals, will widow venom work to reduce the heal?

Probably not, but if it does, I believe other classes already apply the "mortal strike" debuff automatically with their DPS abilities.

Would be a waste for us hunters.

Actually, I'm not sure there's many auto-MSs any more, except for MS itself. Maybe I know nothing about other classes though, that's possible.

Yes, the MS debuff decreases the heal. However, with good play it is possible to pick up all the orbs and just use the global to dps instead.
