found it aswell but there is bound to be some kind of detail that isn't being told. (because im pretty sure the gtm 650 is still better , but with no actuall numbers it is hard to compare)

From my understanding, Sandybridge and Ivybridge were intended to be focused more-so on improving the actual Processors performance while Haswell and Broadwell are improving the iGPU side. So far Intel's 300% speculated increase they stated before seems to be coming to light as the truth and I'm actually sort of excited to see what more they bring with the GT3. So far though this is outperforming an A10-5800K/7660D build that was done a couple of weeks ago that can run about 1280x720 on medium with fluid framerates in most games(not all).

Keep in mind that Dirt3 doesn't require that much performance. http://www.techspot.com/review/403-d...nce/page4.html

Even still, its a vast improvement over the HD 4000. My hope is that they'll eventually make an iGPU capable of 1080p gaming(with acceptable framerates/settings obviously) on Laptops that won't require a power hungry/hot discrete GPU.

Looking at this benchmark it clearly is a big improvement, just increasing the resolution to 1920x1080 would detroy any playability for the HD 4000. GT3e actually looked pretty smooth in high settings at 1080p.
So yes it is a really good thing.
