And that would be an extremist stance. If there is somehow enough backing to actually repeal an amendment from the Bill of Rights, than at that point you can just find your own country. Extremely unlikely, but the same system that protects your right to guns also allows the population to change their country for what they believe is for the better.

“…the whole trouble lies here. In words, words. Each one of us has within him a whole world of things, each man of us his own special world. And how can we ever come to an understanding if I put in the words I utter the sense and value of things as I see them; while you who listen to me must inevitably translate them according to the conception of things each one of you has within himself. We think we understand each other, but we never really do.”

That's not batshit insane or anything. There's a Real American (tm) whom I'd trust with a gun.

Seriously you're wrong about literally everything.
And that is directly correlated with gun rights being expanded across the board. From the FOPA to concealed carry to open carry to campus carry to the end of handgun bans to the end of the FAWB, etc.

According to these, I'm a liberal democrat or a libertarian, respectively. Also, you don't actually know me. You know my internet persona, Kalyyn. Kalyyn tends to stray from my actual beliefs more often than not.

Actually, to be honest I don't think you know either me or internet me, because I've literally never seen you in a thread before right now.
Could at least put an extra n in one of the kalyyns... And then tell us which is which!

The Ultra-Conservative bible-thumpers are an archaic parasite that is feeding off of the republican party. Only when the republican party pushes them out will we as a country be able to come to some sort of understanding.
Right now the government is like 2 completely different species trying to force control on to the other in order shape the country in their own image. They both know that this cannot go on forever, or we as a country will collapse. The end will come, but it isn't yet known if it will be peaceful, or bloody.
The single reason I own a gun is to protect myself from second amendment spewing trigger happy right wing pro civil war secessionists.

do we have the right to bear RPGs? how about the right to bear nuclear arms? never know when they're gonna send some tanks or zombie armies at you.

They aren't playing around with "you can only buy one gun a month" stuff anymore, they're playing for keeps now and they're serious.
Clearly you are trolling, or EXTREMELY misinformed. Either way I feel sad for you.

your biased is showing again and I highly question your sources ( if you have any) on Obama's gun stances, your constant attempted insults of people who hold a different opinion then you is disgusting, the "liberal media" and "left people" do not hate gun owners, in fact many of them are owners of guns, what they want is common sense regulations, like the whole private sale/gunshow loopholes

    Bribery is extremely effective.
The most successful tyranny is not the one that uses force to assure uniformity but the one that removes the awareness of other possibilities.

I'm still fascinated that people think any amount of firearms would protect you from a tyrannical US government backed by the military.

Its like that scene in Arrested Development where Tobias explains the idea of a mind rejecting unpleasant information to Lucile. Then she calls him a ton of mean things and he blinks and says "well if you're just not going to say anything I can't help you".

Except thats you with facts that run counter to your own claims. From your own links.

I actually listen to him sometimes too. He's tame compared to the likes of Olbermann, Shultz, Maddow.

He's loud about his opinions and successful. Thus, hated.

I would ask for evidence of this bribery, but I suppose this line of discussion was exhausted before the election.
