what to buy up now, to resell when 5.2 comes out?

I don't get to play that often as most people, so I'd like to know what's going to be in demand when 5.2 hits, so I can buy it cheaper now, and resell later to fund my alts & such.
I don't have tens of thousands of gold like most people though, few thousand here, few there.

Could stock up on gems and enchanting mats since a lot of people will be getting a lot of upgrades in the new tier. Of course this can apply to pretty much any new patch where gear comes out though.

This, plus tailor/leatherwork leg patches. Shoulder enchants, belt buckles, etc. Flasks will be big when the new tier comes out. Basially anything that riders will need to stay on the cutting edge.

Depends on your server. If you only have a few thousand there and there then i wouldnt be investing your money and instead just farming more. Lots of stockpilers get burned, so its impornat to know what a good price is as well. Having items that people might want to buy assuming there is deand is not the same as selling them.

My advice is you keep on track about Lightning Steel Ingots.

We still dont have any info about how to make them but the moment we know that would be your stock target be it Living Steel or harmonys or whatever.

On a side note: be aware that youre not the only one thinking in stockpiling for 5.2....theres a lot of people doing it that will just flush all their stuff and that could end lowering the prices like it happened on 4.2 and 4.3 on some servers.You will sell more but you will sell cheaper.

And of course the main rule of patches....dont put all your eggs on one basket.Its extremely dangeros.

Lightning steel ingots will require trillium and ghost iron. But to my knowledge they haven't stated what will be required for lightning steel bars (if even required), so you may still need living steel or SoH, but I wouldn't go and burn all my trillium/ghost iron into living steel just yet.

all these things will become wanted when 5.2 arrives, but a lot of people already started hoarding these. though still should be quite a profit.

Item enhancements are always big sellers just after a patch launch when there's new raids/gear available just like others have stated its the better way to go, plus pending on your server if the mats to create flasks sell better than the flasks themselves.

trillium, ghost iron, gems, spirits, and allot of mats it would take to level blacksmithing since allot of the older weapons will be returning, people will probably be leveling blacksmithing
