Isle of Queldanas and Tol Barad. This isn't new. It's a "PvP" area that doesn't require actual PvP and makes you ride on a ground mount the whole time.
Anyone else think Jaime Lannister only has the Kingslayer title because he was just too lazy to kill the king on heroic mode?
Just because you can't figure out what to do with a flying mount doesn't mean no one else can.
Blizzard had it right in Skettis and Blade's Edge Plateaus, but then suddenly it dropped off. What we need are flying fel reaver equivalents and flak cannons you have to dodge and weave around.
Also, hooray at Isle of the Thunder King being land-only. We could have a new Isle of Quel'danas on our hands, which was probably the most fun patch in WoW's history to many. Tol Barad Peninsula was a bit heavily policed, but was still good nonetheless.
Just completely remove mounts from the game, that way you truly get to experience the entire gaming world of wow.
Good to see the vocal minority that spend more time ganking than anything worthwhile getting their way.
omg finally I have been waiting for a no flying mount daily zone since... the... molten... the molten front. oh.
-in 5 man dungeons, Arms Warriors again are the weakest link in the chain as they require 3X amount of healing as other classes and therefore die much more frequently and receive less healing in general, as with the amount of mana spent to keep an Arms Warrior alive the healer can heal all other members and himself.

I'm on a PvE server. Any chance our realm type can have flying mounts enabled? So you know, it doesn't take even LONGER to get the boat load of dailies done than it does already?
its fine with no flying as long as theres no detriment to the dailys for the isle... flying is good when its used right. even when the world was ground mounts only in old azeroth people could still farm nodes just as fast. or similarly with certain classes regardless of whether they could fly.
You shouldn't be flying in an area that is so small anyways. It's already small enough, flying would make it to where you can get anywhere in 30 seconds.
It's kind of sad MMOs have come to this after all the years people fantasized about games that wouldn't just be isolated levels you had to pretend were part of a greater world.

I am the kind of person who likes to log into the game, set up my lfr/lfd/scenario queues, and then go about working on my dailies, which include my farm, mining, pet battle dailies, archaeology daily. I don't want to go around ganking people, and I don't want to have to run on the ground to get all over hell and creation. Blizzard removing the flying mounts would be one of the stupidest things they could ever do. What needs to be done is they need to turn off flying only on the pvp servers so all the people who want to waste time ganking can just transfer there.
The amount of ad hoc fallacy in this thread is too darn high!
I'm glad that I'm on a pve server right now lol.

Hopefully they add flying in before it goes live, it's only the beta after all.
It would be stupid not to, honestly.
World pvp didn't end since flying was brought in. Think Halaa and hellfire...giving people a choice is better then denying flying. I want to fly, not trot around on the ground.

I play the game to do something I consider fun, and tedium isn't generally fun (for me), and ground mounts are often associated with tedium (for me).
So, make of that what you will.
Well atleast I'll get to enjoy my water strider for once.
