Oh man...only three?? I don't know if I can do that. This is in no particular order.

    1. Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. The only Game in the series that I enjoyed, and I REALLY enjoyed it.

    2. Star Ocean 3. The only major drawback for me with this game would be the voice acting, but you can turn that off if you so desire. The intertwining of Sci-fi and fantasy is quite interesting and the sheer amount of background (which is accessible in-game) that this game has is close to overwhelming levels.

    3. Legaia 2: Duel sagas. I had so much fun trying to figure out the correct combinations for the power moves in this game. I haven't seen a system similar to this in any other RPG.

I think if I had to pick one based on story alone though, I would have to go with Grandia 2. There is a really dark and gritty story in that game that just grabbed me and wouldn't let go. A lot of the bosses have a creepy aesthetic to them as well.

But there are so many other great RPG's on PS2! Definitely the best console to have if you are into RPG's by far. Not to mention all of the great ps1 RPG's that can play on it as well.

I tried and tried to get into the xenosaga games, but my GOD the cutscenes in those games are just unbearable! Not the quality or anytthing mind you, but the sheer amount of them. There are probably more cutscenes in that series than any other RPG to date.

No. They were only released on ps1 (unless there is some downloadable version available for ps3 that I'm not aware of). They can be PLAYED on PS2, but they are not ON PS2.

They're playable on the PS2, so they're still on the PS2.

The same way that Pokemon Red was on the Game Boy Advance as well as the Game Boy Colour and Game Boy Pocket/Light.

Tought Question. Im sure Im gona leave somethign out, but here goes nothing

    Final Fantasy X
Romancing Saga (the music in this game is simply awesome listen to some of it if you can on youtube or something later)
    Shadow Hearts 2

Honorable mentions to Shadow Hearts 1 and Rogua Galaxy.

And just to add to the discussion going on here, FF8 and 9 arent PS2 games, theyre playable on PS2, theyre PS1 games... every PS2 game is playable on a PS3 with backwards compatibility that doesnt make them PS3 games.

You know what to do if you believe I have done so.

I'm sure the rest of us understand that that's what I'd pick, regardless of what console the game was originally released on.

You can run DVDs on your specific Blu-ray player, the same way you can run PS1 games on a PS2. You've confused the media with the media type (that is, the film "300" on the DVD is not the same as the DVD itself, and that specific "300" film can be run on a Blu-ray player and a DVD player, making it "on" Blu-ray. Poor example, but you brought it up).

Wild Arms 3 in only a week? I logged over 100 hours because there was so much exploring and collecting to do if you are a completionist :P

You keep checking back here though to bicker about the finer points though :P Also I think we know the spirit in which the OP made the thread, and trading off technicalities (pedantry) is slightly derailing it.
