You can get a ton of points just doing all the dungeon and raid content pre-MoP. Doesn't take very long to run through it all and it's a lot more fun than grinding professions or rep.

oh, if youre still reading this thread, get involved with the premade community. check out openraid, the wow public vent, and Oqueue addon. makes pvp achievements actually possible without wanting to kill yourself

All you need is time, guides aren't really necessary for achievement hunting. If you don't know how to do it, just search it on WoWHead.

I think that Deathknights are the easiest to solo on. Should be able to go get a lot of points in the old dungeons.
