Protip: When he jumps up into the air, it's usually better to dodge roll towards him than away from him or to the sides, and he's stunned so long after that that you can cast a strong spell or get two attack swings in on him.

Also, if you use a mace, remember you can break his poise when he tried to gather up energy, thus ending the attack.

That's why I have the baseball bat. Always remember; Zombies are endlessly spawning. Ammo is not. A melee weapon is your best friend.

And a spiked baseball bat, according to my calculations, is one of the best weapons against zombies. That and a sword (Katana, not because it's cool but because it's a slashing weapon that's very light but with great reach. Use to decapitate only). But a sword will go dull, a bat will always have stopping power. Until' I break it, but I don't think I have the strength for that yet.

They can break from repeated use, even if you don't have enough strength to break it.

Also, yeah. Katanas.

I don't like dodging. Going part havel turtle and defending is much more fun. I think I can smack him down with a couple 2H hits from the G-sword of Artorias +5 when he does that summoning.
